Trampolines+ V2.5

NEW UPDATE!!!

Hey everyone!  Sorry that I haven't updated this mod in so long.  I've been pretty busy recently, but I've finally updated it for Minecraft 1.4.6 and 1.4.7!  I have also added custom textures for the blocks and added a new Trampoline!  Check out the update logs for more details.

Note: New Version Requires Minecraft Forge.

I will also be updating my other mods sometime really soon.  In addition, I have been working on several new mods I plan to release in the near future.

Description:  This mod is compatible with 1.4.6 and 1.4.7.  The mod adds several Trampoline blocks into the game, each with a different bounce strength.  This mod is perfect for playing around with, creating adventure maps, accessing high places in survival mode, and lots more!

List of Features:

Iron Trampoline:  Low bounce strength.

Gold Trampoline:  Medium bounce strength.

Diamond Trampoline:  High bounce strength.

Emerald Trampoline:  Very high bounce strength!

Obsidian Trampoline:  Extreme bounce strength!!!

   Note:  Requires Minecraft Forge.

Upcoming Updates:

Adding more trampolines (Including several "special" trampolines).

Fixing current glitches and bugs!

Installation:

1.  Download and install Minecraft Forge from here: http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,4804.0.html.

2.  Download the Trampolines+ Mod.

3.  Go into the start menu,  Type %appdata% into the search bar.  Click search.  Click on the .minecraft folder.

4.  Go into the bin folder.  Locate the minecraft.jar file.  Using an extraction program  such as WinRar or 7-Zip, open up the file.

5.  Delete the META-INF folder.

6.  Extract the files from the Trampolines+ mod to a different location.

7.  Drag the files from the Trampolines+ mod into minecraft.jar.

8.  Exit out all the windows.  The Trampolines+ mod should be now installed and working properly.  Craft a trampoline and have fun!

Added a brand new catapult block.  It launches you up and forward at the same time and you also don't receive any fall damage!

I love this mod i only have one complaint you cant pull it out of not enough or too many items you actually have to craft it thats cool but it sucks if you forget you have the mod see then when your going through items you wont seet it its called unnamed 125 and it soesnt show up unless you craft it.

i agree with you i just got it and went flying up but i step foot on it i lose 1/2 health then i land on it i die instantly... i wish you would fix this ninjaboy105

Don't worry.  I've fixed it so that after you bounce off from the block, you don't receive any fall damage no matter where you land!  (:

I'm working on the glitches and adding more types of trampolines into the game.  I will update the mod sometime next week.  Meanwhile, you can take advantage of the glitches and use the trampolines as traps!  Place them around in the ground around your house and when a monster walks onto it, it will be launched into the air and then die!  Easy farming!  (:

I love this mod but i found some glitches,


I get damaged when i fall, 3 falls kills you
they're called unnamed not trampoline
it worked for 5 jumps and it stopped until i left creative mode


Just though you'd like a little feedback :)

Thanks for the feedback.  Yeah, I'm trying to remove the fall damage and give it a name.  That's part of my to-do list.  (:  Also, when the bounces stop, you have to move around a little on the blocks.  After a little bit, it should start working again.  But I'll work on that as well.

Awsome, this is one of the few mods that works on my laptop and i can tell, this will turn into a great mod. Its really good already and helps me with the problem of moving up multiple stories. I did find one more thing. For some reason it's not on TMI. I dont mind crafting it but I prefer to just 1click and have it. I may be missing it but i searched for about 5 minutes and neither me nor my brother could find it. Well good luck and great job on this mod. :) May be small but VERY useful
