Introduction:

The Wastelander mod isn't just entirely about wastelands and dying. Instead of just sticking with the same topic (wastelands) i like to add a variety of different items so you don't get bored, But the whole mod is based around wastelands hence the title.

I first started making this mod about 8 days ago after my previous mod "Plus mod" got deleted and discontinued. I wanted to base the mod around wastelands because their is a huge variety of items linked with the topic, Plus i have only seen one other wastelands mod which in my opinion was far too hard. I you have any questions please comment.

Armor:

Bone: Bone armor is the strength of iron and looks very cool. It requires more than one type of item to craft it, It requires: Bone Plates, Leather.

Tools:

Bone: Bone tools are between the strength and speed of iron and the strength and speed of stone. To craft them you require: Handles, Bones.

Heavens Blaze: Heavens Blaze is the best sword in the game so far! it has 2000 uses and kills a zombie in 3 hits. It also has a special ability, when you right click the floor it sets on fire! To craft it, it requires 3 parts that use lots of very valuable materials! View the crafting recipes to learn how to craft it: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Items/Food:

Bacon: Raw Bacon heals 1/2 a heart and cooked Bacon heals 1 heart. You craft bacon by placing a raw pork chop into your crafting area, in return for one pork chop it gives you 4 Bacon strips. Then you cook the bacon how you cook any other thing on minecraft (in a furnace).

Beef Burger: Raw Beef Burger heals 1/2 a heart once again ( i might be incorrect) and a cooked beef burger heals 1 heart. You craft a Burger the same way as bacon but instead of Raw Pork its Raw Beef. You also cook it in a furnace too.

Lamb Chop: Lamb Chops are dropped by sheep once killed. A raw lamb chop heals 2 hearts and a cooked lamb chop heals 4 hearts.

Fried Egg: Fried egg is used in making a Bacon+Egg Bap. You make it by cooking an egg dropped from chickens in a furnace.

Bread Buns: Bread buns are simply a loaf of bread in minecraft split in two so each bread bun heals half the amount bread does. You craft it by placing Bread in your crafting area, In return for the bread you receive two bread buns.

Bacon+Egg Bap: Bacon+Egg Baps Heal allot of hearts because it is 2 buns (1 bread) 1 cooked bacon and 1 cooked egg combined!!!! NOM! View crafting recipes to learn how to craft it: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Beef Burger Bap: Beef Burger Baps heal the equivalent of 2 buns and 1 cooked beef burger combined! Great snack! View crafting recipes to learn how to craft it: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Bone Plate: Crafted by placing two bones in your your crafting area or placing a "Huge Bone Fragment" in your crafting area. They are used for creating "Bone Armor". View the crafting recipes: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Glass Shard: Glass shards are collected by destroying Glass Ore Blocks.

Glass Shards are used to create "Blazing shards" along with lava. *Armor and tools for glass coming soon!*

Blazing Shard: Blazing shards are crafted using "Glass Shards" and buckets of lava. Blazing Shards are used for creating "The Heavens Blaze" sword. *Coming soon Blazing armor and tools!*

Handle: Handles are used for making "Bone Tools". You craft a Handle with leather and sticks. View crafting recipes: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Adrenaline: Adrenaline is used to either get somewhere fast, Get out of somewhere or to even go rage mode with bows and swords! Once you have crafted adrenaline, it gives you 2 adrenaline rather than one. I did this because to take adrenaline you hold both of them stacked in your hand and hold right/left click like you do when you draw back a bow. You will notice that as soon as you start to hold down left/right click one adrenaline has already gone.......that is because you have just taken it, But the longer you hold the left/right click for the more effected by adrenaline you get. You cannot take 1 adrenaline individually you need at least two on you!http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Heavens Blaze Parts: Heavens blaze parts are what is required to craft the heavens blaze sword. View the crafting recipes to learn how to craft it, their are three parts the blade, bottom part of the blade and the handle: http://imgur.com/a/qrNzd#42

Blocks: This mod only adds 4 new blocks (adding many more while you read this), The 4 new blocks are:

Fossil's: Are somewhat a new type of ore, Once found underground (common ore) when you destroy it, Place the fossil in your crafting area and in return you receive 4 bones.....Boom now you can play on peaceful and still grow them tree's!

Dry Dirt: Dry Dirt is the ground for my biome, the "wasteland". It is as solid as rock and requires a pickaxe to collect it! If you like the look of it you can also make it by placing dirt in a furnace and cooking it!

Glass Ore: Found deep underground, a bright blue interesting looking ore. It should be rare, but because i have just added it, i probably have some tweaking to do on it. It drops Glass shards, look at the item list for more information on them.

Huge Bone Fragments: Huge bone fragments are only found in huge bone structures found only in wasteland biomes! They are incredibly rare, so think of your self lucky if you find one! If you place a Huge Bone Fragment in your crafting area, in return you will receive 9 Bone Plates, View the items list for more info on them.

Biomes:

Wastelands: This mod only includes one biome at the time being, i plan on adding more but i need ideas before i try and add one. Wastelands are dry and full of "Dry Dirt". At night you should hide other wise desperate Steve might find you!

Creatures:

Crystal Fish: Crystal Fish are very rare at the moment simply because i have not finished with them yet, they are found deep out at see at the time being. Their AI needs fixing and i also plan on adding a new item related to them. More fish to come as well.

Wasteland Hound: Wasteland Hounds, the same as wolves but a different colour to match the wastelands.

Desperate Steve: Desperate Steve is a monster and only comes out at night in the wastelands, He carries a sword and has been attacked by some creatures. Because he is so desperate to survive he will try to eat you!

Installation:

This mod requires modloader to work: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/75440-v125-risugamis-mods-everything-updated/ I also recomend Recipe Book Mod: http://www.minecraftmine.org/recipe-book-mod/

1. Download modloader + This mod.

2. Press Start and type in your search bar " %appdata% " and open the folder called roaming.

3. Open the folder called ".minecraft" then go into the folder "Bin".

4. Right click the minecraft.jar file and open in with WINRAR or 7Zip.

5. Delete the folder called META-INF inside the minecraft.jar file.

6. Open up modloader with WINRAR and drag the entire contents into the minecraft.jar file.

7. Now close modloader and open up Wastelander mod with WINRAR. Inside their should be a note file called "README" and a folder. Open up that one folder and drag the entire contents including the folders called "MyMod" and "Armor" into the minecraft.jar file.

8. Now close everything and run minecraft!
