Here is a room that i made that when you select a destination and go through, it teleports you to another room! This is possible with the new command blocks in 1.4.
How it works: There is a delay so that just before the portal takes you to the nether, it teleports you to the destination set on the command block of choice.
It can easily be edited for SMP by making the command blocks closer to the portal (so that it teleports the right person), Ijust kept them where they were to keep it compact.
