Today, I'm proud to bring you my 3rd project shared on PMC so far! It is a 3 floor, mid/late 1970's era split level home with several subtle Spanish Revival influences. It features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living area on the upper level, and a kitchen/dining space on the main floor (ground level). It also features an attached garage (approx. 2 spaces) and a pool in the backyard. It is completely unfurnished and ready for your finishing touches!

Check out this let's build series on my YouTube channel for a look at how this home came together:

For some reason... I really like this house. I know I shouldn't, because it's 70's style, but I guess "70's" doesn't mean bad... at least not for housing.

Embrace it! Feel that 70's love! Haha jk. Seriously though, there's actually quite a few very interesting houses from that era here in Minnesota, they just get overshadowed by the boxy, boring abominations from other parts of the country.

Well, I live in California, and it's really nice here, but I didn't know what 70's style was previous to this. I just said that because of the 70's, just, the 70's in general...
It seems like it was a weird time.

Now that you mention it, that whole generation (50's through the late 80's) was kind of strange in a way. On one hand, you had great music, great (but increasingly ridiculous) fashion trends, big cars, and bigger houses. On the flip side, there were wars, gas shortages, and the US and the Soviet Union could feasibly have started a game of 'nuclear football' at any time.

Yeah, but I love war history, and most cars from 20's - 50's.

It's interesting stuff, for sure. I love those cars from the 50's, with the huge tailfins and all that chrome.
