As some of you may or may not know, Battle Royale is the more gruesome version of the Hunger Games. It basically makes the Hunger Games looks like a childs game. The novel was created around 1998, and told a story of a futuristic government in Japan (known as Republic of Greater East Asia) that is starting to get out of line - all because of the youths. So what they do (or did) is choose a random Junior High school class by lottery to participate in the Program, a military study. They put the students on a island (or wherever they choose) and they are forced to kill each other. The rules for the Program is pretty heavy and there is a slim chance of escape, so I will just go on.
I decided to make a map based on it. Its not the island featured in the book, I wanted to be at least a bit creative. I tried to base how they leave and the rules on how BR is said to run in the book. Instead of letting them leave all at once and create a bloodbath, they leave one by one based on their student number in their class at 1hr intervals (I believe). Once the first person leaves, the Program begins. The trick is, each student as a indestructible, non removable metal collar around their necks that not only have listening and tracking devices, but a bomb inside that will blow up the student if they dare try to escape or break the rules. The coolest thing is the map is broken into sectors and twice a day one sector is chosen as a forbidden zone, so if a student lingers in they will explode. The downfall of this map is, I had to install FML mods to give it the BR feeling cause in the book they use guns, explosives, knives, modern weapons and such. Im still debating on putting it up for download. If you are still reading this, you sir are a hero.
