Below is the request most of you wanted...
To turn the furniture into markers use this command but refer to the picture for the glitch that i seem to be having with it...
on:
/entitydata @e[type=ArmorStand,name=UDBFur] {Marker:1b}
off:
/entitydata @e[type=ArmorStand,name=UDBFur] {Marker:0b}

If your using Spigot.... - click to reveal
If you're having trouble with certain commands not working in spigot
using command blocks then likely you need to edit the commands.yml file.
It's located in the server root folder. http://wiki.bukkit.org/Commands.yml
Add this to the file and it should fix any issues you might have had:
command-block-overrides:
- give
- clear
- tp
- summon
- setblock
- fill
- effect
- spawnpoint
- kill
- scoreboard

That would be pretty cool...though I do understand that you're not a fast-food order-taker....
Also, do texture packs effect the look of these? And do these things show up in chunky?
Texture packs change how they look, sometimes for the better, sometimes not so nice. I'm not sure if chunky renders armor stands, if so then yes, if not then we must ask them to add this feature!
Its a bit cryptic but if you build from their source their latest version might be able to, maybe..
