Hello!

This blog is about a work in progress server called Celestius: Earth Reborn. The reason for writing this blog is to find talented builders, redstone engineers and texture pack artists who are willing to help develop the server until it's public release! These people may then be able to become moderators, and will be rewarded in some way on the server. No mod/admin applications will be accepted.

What is Celestius?

Celestius: Earth Reborn is a new work in progress RPG and survival server. The server revolves around a storyline, in which the human race attempts to find a new and habitable planet after earth has become inhabitable. They find the planet Celestius, inhabited by the Xiyad race who are able to tame wild dragons that roam freely around the planet. The two races then turn against each other after several months of living in harmony. More details on the server and it's storyline can be found on our website at www.earthreborn.us

Who we need

Builders

Our spawn island has been terraformed by me. It measures 1000 blocks each way. There is a ravine splitting the island in two. One side of the island is inhabited by the humans, and the other by the Xiyads. The Xiyad side of the island has mainly been built, and is nearing completion, but the human side of the island has no buildings on it at all. We need talented builders who are able to build modern and stylish accommodation, industrial buildings and many other things like shops and maybe even a stadium.

Redstone Engineers

Another important feature of the server will be redstone contraptions. We have already incorporated minor contraptions into some of the locations, but we need people who are able to create more complex build such as elevators. Please note while applying for this position that we require redstone engineers, not people who know the basics of redstone, therefore people who are into the more technical side of the game, and are able to create their own devices, and inventions, not simply people who can copy something from YouTube.

Texture Pack Artists

The server aims to be as unique and as custom as possible, therefore we need talented texture pack artists who are able to create a new pack from scratch. As this is a very time consuming task, we would be looking for people who are very dedicated and have a fair amount of free time on their hands. It would also be nice if the artist had a unique style, in keeping with the servers aim. The texture pack will be a 16X16 pack and needs to be fairly detailed.
