Hi guys and gals, Andrew here presenting to you my project that I am in the process of building.

I have set myself the arduous task of creating Asgard, the city from the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is the home to Thor, Odin and Loki amoung many others.

The process I can imagine will be slow but I will be posting pictures as I complete certain key phases of the build.

I would much appreciate any feedback you could give me and I hope you enjoy following my progress!

11th October 2015
I have made a little more progress, completing the design and replication of the support structures supporting the rainbow bridge, I am very pleased with the look down through them towards the Bifrost.
A giant circle has been constructed ready for mapping out the city!

Just made a 350 diameter circle, nearly ready to start the waterways and then building the main city

Looks great so far, could be a bit larger to get more detail involved but apart from that its great.

Yeh i struggled with deciding the size, I wanted it to be big enough to look alright but not too big that it would make the whole build far to large, as obviously everything is in perspective and even at this size the rainbow bridge to the mainland is over 100 blocks long

I would recommend to you to use world painter in order to create the vast landscape of Asgard.  When using it, take your time, and be careful, little things can make big mountains in that program, but that can help you through your process.

The colors look very good together! And the rainbow road just adds another array of colors people will enjoy looking at :> well done so far!

Thank you, yeh I thought hard about the colour choice, obviously it had to be a gold colour and if it were true asgardian style it would be made fully of gold, however this I decided would look boring and not so well designed so i went for the mix of gold blocks and yellow stained clay
