This project aims to create a Greco-roman city based primarily on the great city of Constantinople. It will not be a 1:1 replica in either size or layout. This is due to the size of the city as well as the Theodosian walls, the Forum of Constantine and the Forum of Theodosius being at an angle to the Imperial Complex, Hagia Sofia, and the Hippodrome. Building any of these at an angle would, in my opinion, undermine their design and beauty. My Constantinople will, therefore, be built with the monuments along the Mesa and other landmarks angled 90 degrees to each other. Regular streets will, however, still be in angles and curves due to realism. I will be focusing more on aesthetics than historical accuracy, and I'll also be improvising the areas of the city that are not well documented. Hopefully. all of you, history interested Minecrafters out there will enjoy this project. I'm open to suggestions and I'll be happy to receive designs for buildings. For this, just send me a PM.
