EDIT: Sorry about any bugs I have not fixed. I am working on another redstone project and will not be on this world for some time while i create it. If a really bad bug comes up I will try to fix but in the meantime I am sorry.

EDIT: Thanks soo much guys! This post is already the most popular post i have made ever beating all my other posts that have been around for almost a year, and this has been up for about 2 days! TY TY :D I will add a surprise in the map to thank the peoples :D

Recently Sethbling made a cookie clicker in minecraft. Unfortunately, he did not provide a download link so i decided to make my own based on his idea. Plz give credit to Sethbling. Here is the vid:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PeA1fLbu5Eg&feature=share&list=UU8aG3LDTDwNR1UQhSn9uVrw

Here is a download for the map. The one with "LESS LAG" is for people with not as powerful comps which cannot handle the amount of falling cookie entities.

Ty For checking this outD

PM or comment with any bugs so i can fix them asap.

1.2 : 09/15/2013 12:30:23 pm9/15/13

Added a treat at the end if you buy 35 of every building. Made the buying buttons more awesome. Implemented the new /tellraw command so now 13w37b is required. The less lag version has been updated with same things.

1.1 : 09/15/2013 12:30:16 pm9/15/13

Fixed 2 typos in the scores and possibly fixed the game-breaking purchasing with incorrect cookies bug. Added an ending when you have all 35 of each building. Added wooden button to prevent spamming.

I love your map, but the command blocks will not work. I've pressed the Pointer button a thousand times and I can buy anything, I've messed with the redstone... Nothing works.
Edit Reply Delete
I think you have to stand right up on the button. I have nothing else to do so i will try to make a slight update to see if i can make the map function better.
Edit Reply Delete
I have kinda ignored this map for a while. I didnt expect it to get so many people to see it. I might make a fix for any problems if i get around to to it.

Your map is not working. Your comparitor hookup is invalid. You can't buy it even with the right amount. I even fiddled with the redstone a bit and there is no room for it to be moved... Please fix this mistake.

Testfor cant be done for offline players, like your "Cookie" player. Instead of making fake players in one objective, make a bunch of objectives and change the player to "@p". Then ONLY set the "Cookies" objective to the "sidebar" setdisplay. Then instead of saying "testfor Cookies[score_Cookies_min=10]" and then "scoreboard players add Clickers Cookies 1" you should say "testfor @p[score_Cookies_min=10]" and then "scoreboard players add @p Clickers 1".
Edit Reply Delete
Did i set it up that way? I can't really remember. I started a much larger redstone project i plan on posting in about a month or so so i will be busy an that.

Make your fake players at your own risk.
Edit Reply Delete
I made it so that it is both a fake player for display and then the real player has an invisible score so when one is changed they both change. Maybe not the best way to do it but o well.

That's neat, but your command blocks are still wrong. Just change the player and the scoreboard on them and done... The way I made my "Cow Fisher" cookie clicker thing, I simply made the purchasing system like this: (Note: These are not the exact command block lines but they would work better for you)

testfor @p[score_cookie_min=20]
if true, let the redstone signal go on
testfor @p[score_clicker_min=35]
if false, let the redstone signal go on
scoreboard players remove @p cookie 20
scoreboard players add @p clicker 1

Then i have something like this

testfor @p[score_clicker_min=1]
if true, start a clock that triggers a command block every time it blinks
scoreboard players add @p cookie 1
Edit Reply Delete
I see where that is going but the reason i have the whole invisible player thing is so players can see certain scores. Like multiple scoreboards. Idk i might go and update the map sooner or later because its been a while. Ty for the suggestions

You're welcome.
Edit Reply Delete
I am not sure why it isn't working cause it is working fine for me on snapshot 13w41a make sure your on 13w37 and above or it WILL NOT WORK. You cannot use 1.6.4
Edit Reply Delete
Could you release a map that actually works? Clickers don't work and i've clicked the grandma so much.

I've pressed the purchase pointer button about a thousand times and it didn't work once. I looked into the redstone and I've found that the command block is outputting "That player could not be found"
Edit Reply Delete
hm im sorry about the glitch i will see if i can fix it but it might just be the command functioning incorrectly

Just turn (right click) the item in the frame. It should update the item frame and show the cost of the item

You remade Seth's Cookie Clicker from scratch? Impressive, but an original idea would be cooler. ;)

I gave credit to Seth and stuff and I was sad he didnt give us a download link. I am not taking any credit for this.

Hey, this is a really great map, but how did you do the scoreboards? I've been trying to make a map with this sort of system, with everything to the right under 'scores', but I can never do it. Could you help me?
Edit Reply Delete
to be honest i didnt know before this map either and it took me so long to find out. But 1st do/scoreboard objectives add Scores dummy Scores. This will create a scoreboard titled "Scores". Then, if you want points under there, do /scoreboard players set Points Scores 1 to allow Points to be tracked. Don't forget to setdisplay the scores and then your all set. Just add some command blocks that add points and such and your good.

Edit Reply Delete
@devdude2000
It should work i tested it before and havent messed with the purchase buttons since. Try clicking it again there is a known bug i am currently unsure of how to fix where sometimes the button wont work the 1st time but will work the 2nd time. If your problems keep happening i will try to fix it soon

Ok thanks! I know all about the bugs in 13w37b, and they are annoying! (I am making a map that should be released in at most an hour)
Edit Reply Delete
to be honest i don't think its 13w37b. I think it is just my design. It kinda sucks and i am unsure of how to fix it without rebuilding a good section of the map :(
