Well, the reason I haven't uploaded anything for the past 9 months is that I've had some serious computer issues. Viruses galore and crashes and losing files and losing flash drives and stuff. So, at the end of 9 months, I've ended right back where I started: I got nothing.

What I do have is pictures. This is the only real proof I have left of any of these projects, and there were also multiple projects which I hadn't taken any pictures of, which are now lost.

I guess uploading pictures is maybe not the greatest idea in the world; it's sort of teasing at what cannot be. But for me personally, this is a way to immortalize the few projects I can, to feel at least some closure for the hours of work poured into these projects.

So, unsurprizingly, there will be no downloads or schematics.

The first project, a tower, was one of the first things I built in Creative Mode which I didn't immediately want to destroy. The tower in the background was the first, and I wanted to make a bigger tower, so I took loads of inspiration and started building from the ground up. In the end, I like how it turned out, and it was the build that really got me started on building in Creative.

Afterwards, I decided to make an even bigger tower, and went for an evil theme. I like the dragon gargoyles, which were the hardest part and the one thing I really miss, but for the most part I really don't like how it turned out. The silhouette is wonky and the tower looks strange.

Next, having made enough towers, I saw a really cool palace and thought "Hey, I wanna try that!" So I spent quite a bit of time getting a design in my head, and the went to work on it. About 90% of the way through, the new stone blocks came out, so I went through the entire build finding excuses to use diorite or andesite. My friend, seeing the build and liking it, thought it would look good in brick, so I tried that and, surprizingly, it changes the architectural style significantly. It goes from Gothic to kind of French-Baroque, which is super cool.

The same friend asked me to make a library for him, but with a catch: he wanted an interior. So, I made a beautiful, almost ostentatiously detailed exterior, and then got to work on the interior. I sent him a couple screenshots halfway through, and he said he hated the interior and didn't want the library.
Figures.

The last picture is one of the last things I did on my computer. I was in the process of desining and creating a Fantasy-Gothic Castle, and had begun building some of the first things I could think of. I managed to make a dome and a dormer after this picture was taken, but my design was so rapidly changing that I never got to do much else. Unfortunately, all my designing was digital, so all I have is what I remember. This project, however, may not be dead just yet.
