About

Cube Control is a PvP Bed wars map By Xisuma. The object of the game is to destroy the other teams bed and kill all there players. This is achieved by working as a team to farm resources from each of the cubes to gear up. Trading with villagers will get you powerful upgrades and useful items to aid you in beating the enemy. I recommend playing in teams of 6-8 players for the most enjoyment.

Rules
1. No crafting beds.
2. Beds can only be placed on obsidian.
3. Picking up a broken bed is acceptable
4. No breaking the glass boundaries

5. Do not use ware dyed armor of the other team

How To Play

Cube Control can be overwhelming if you don't take the time to read the rules and this "how to play" section. When you first start a game you should work as a team and divide up the workload of gathering resources from the initial cubes. Whoever goes to glowstone should light up all pathways created so mobs don't spawn. Whoever goes to cobblestone should fortify the bed.

Once you have some basic supplies and weapons, head out to the outer cubes to get items for upgrading your weapons. Farm gold from pigmen to get looting V swords. This will increase the amount of resources you get all around. From this point i recommend making use of the turrets to harass the other team and stop them bridging across. 

The Cubes

What the cubes do (each cube has a chest with emeralds for trading)

[spawn] Will provide you with wool blocks for bridging to other cubes.
[cobblestone] To fortify your base and craft weapons and tools.
[glowstone] To prevent spawning and used in trading
[wood] For crafting tools and arrows
[flint] For arrows and trading
[spider] String for bows and arrows for trading
[skeleton] Bones for trading and arrows
[chicken] Feathers for arrows and food
[cow] Leather for armor and food
[zombie pigmen] Gold nuggets for trading looting sword and other useful items
[creeper] For tnt / flint n steel
[blaze] For powerful upgrades and increase stock
[magma] For powerful upgrades
[potion] Provides the player with potions which can be traded and upgraded

[turrets] Each team have 2 turrets that spawn static fireballs for defending and attacking.

Trading

Trading can provide you with powerful items useful in defeating your enemy. Be sure to check out all the trades available in the lobby and think about how they can help you beat your opponents.

Other Info

There is a control room that only players in creative mode can enter, when hosting a game you can enter this room and change some of the settings including difficulty, fire spread, mob greifing, block drops and keeping inventory on death. It is recommended to play on default settings but these options have been enabled if you want to customize your Cube Control experience.

This map is inspired by cluster chunk, a great pvp map of the same genre. I'd like to say thank you to three_two for the inspiration and a big thanks to sciguyryan who spent a lot of time helping me put this map together.
