Dörnbergsches haus (Martinsplatz 2) Was a Representative late renaissance house on the Martinsplatz right in the center of the old town of Kassel, Germany.

It was build around 1600 and got its name after Johann Caspar Dörnberg in 1666. From 1767 on it was used as gouvernement. 1832 used as a Polytechnic school and in the year 1838 even it was planned to be used as the Town hall of Kassel. These plans were later abandoned and instead Kassel got a much larger town hall whcih is one of the few to have survived the bombing nights on the 22. October 1943.

This building however, was destroyed along with its neighbouring houses and the Saint Martin's church. Only the lower part of the Renaissance portal have survived, and can be seen today.
