Daskalakis Athletic Center
The Daskalakis Athletic Center is the main athletic center for Drexel University located in Philadelphia PA. The facilities include a swimming pool, five squash courts, and a golf center. The building is mostly known for its 2,509 seat arena and gym. It is the home of Drexel's division 1 NCAA Basketball team the Drexel Dragons. Other teams like the Squash team, Wrestling team and Golf Team utilize the facilities. The site is also known as the DAC.
Recreation Center
The Recreation center is an 18,000 sq. ft. addition to the DAC, and includes squash courts, a multipurpose gym, weights and fitness center, running track, group fitness rooms, a rock wall, health and wellness services, and locker rooms. The space caters intramural sports, club sports, personal fitness, and includes Landmark Americana, a restaurant facing Market St.
Building History
The DAC opened in 1975 and is dedicated to John Daskalakis, a notable Drexel alumni. The Recreation Center addition was started in 2008 and finished in 2010 for a cost of $44.6 million. Over the past 6 years, the DAC has been going through minor but inportant renovations.

This building complex is apart of a recreation of Drexel University in Philadelphia PA and is built by myself, WiseGuy17. The first block of the University, which is stradled by Market, 33rd, Arch, and 34th will be released this summer so stay tuned!
