We present one of our project that has been created by our team of french builder.
The project has taken over 450 hours of construction in total. (25 hours of film accelerated and and 25 more off-camera with 8/10 players)

Until a solution is found, the server will stay closed.
We will inform you as soon possibly.

it is a shame about the map downloading. but what you can do is make a guest build area. If a visitor makes a good enough team, you can put them on the server. The visitor can NOT exit the guest build zone untill an admin checks there building out.

(by the way)

I came across this build and consequently the rest of your youtube timelapse videos a couple weeks ago. I have to say that I have watched your build video for this at least 50 times, no joke. This is such amazing work that I am using it as inspiration for my own build. Best build I have ever seen, hands down!!

I know I'm going to sound totally noobish asking this, but how did you get the main street to light up like that? I've experimented a little with glowstone and torchs but it doesn't quite feel the same. Trying to get the Tri-force inlay in my main building to light up for pure awesomeness.

People are going to continue "pirating" your map as long as you are transmitting the information from your server to their client. Here's something to think about:

Closing your server to visitors only hurts people who want to legitimately view your map. Now, because the server is closed, everybody will be forced to download maps that were "pirated" from your server.

There will always be people who want to experience this map in single player, by closing your server to visitors you have done nothing to stop them from downloading the map. You have accomplished nothing.

I understand that a lot of very, very hard work went into this. Try letting your artwork fly freely. Offer your own single-player download of the map. Hell, put it up as "Donate to download" and allow people to name their price ($0.00 or more!). You'll receive donations from generous, loving individuals. There will always be people who want it for free... and they'll get it free from you, through your website, and they'll say to themselves "what generous people made this map," instead of "those selfish assholes closed their server to visitors"

We understand that closing the server accomplished nothing and we only hurt people who want to see it, but we can't let people use our work like they want. There will be people who will use our work as them and we don't want that to happen. We're thinking about make schematics inspired from our construction, but not the city itself.

Anyway, the actual laws in France don't allow to receive donation without be a Association or a Entreprise, we don't have the time and the motivation to do so, because it's useless.
