A fully playable Survival Map with every resource you will need, just like a normal Minecraft map. Ores, caves, strongholds, abandoned mine-shafts, villages and all your farming equipment is located on one small island, somewhere in the Pacific. Nobody really knows why it's shaped like a dragon. Rumors are that the Creator used custom heightmap brushes...

You can download and play instantly, simply drop the unzipped folder into your saves, under .minecraft in your Roaming folder. YouTube it if you're inexperienced.

If this goes well, I'll probably make something similar in the shape of a butterfly, much more potential with that.

Could I make this into a survival games as well? Really loving your terrains :) (Infact, would you mind If I made a few of your works into a private survival games arena?)

Taylorwood, is one of the houses in the village with the church supposed to be wrecked?

Yep. The irony is that he built right next to a lava lake, so of course it's wrecked.

I said this on reddit before I deleted my account and you might want to put baby dragons and another idea, you could put random islands around. Great map though, I did have two things that I don't know if were meant to happen or were just my computer:

1. The area that it changes to superflat I had about a chunk (I think) that just went to the void and was only one way

2. The lake (I won't say were it is because it could spoil the game) cave's water won't go inside unless build there.

Baby dragons? Hm, maybe they could be in the shape of small islands, too.

Yeah, I had to cut down the ocean part a lot. The map size was already 25mb, and I didn't want to add anymore to that. You're not exactly meant to leave the island, so it's not too much of a problem.

Sorry, didn't quite understand what you said about the lake :P

... You have to download it. Gonna assume you're new.

Seeds are what Minecraft naturally generates, and usually the terrain is very consistent.
This is a map, meaning you must manually download it to play it. Look on YouTube for some tutorials!

You should have used the smooth tool on all the edges to prevent the jagged cliffs. :)
You may also want to add less trees next time, I know on my first map it was much to heavy as well.

Actually it's meant to be like that.
Yeah, but it's hard to compensate it. Like, if I used less trees, it felt awkward and boring. Comes down to personal preference I guess.

Shame that this is created with a custom heightmap brush.
Composing terrain from scratch is much more worth the effort imo =P

I don't exactly feel any pride in this as a result. Mainly for people to play on, to be honest. I still had to go over it and add everything, kinda like tracing over a drawing really.

I think I'll just mass produce these, if it's popular at all. It's relatively quick.

Actually, even better would be to draw the custom height map rather than using a height map on Google. Too bad my hand is shit.
