Description / Background
This ship is part of a greater project on Lyrah, actually the same project that my previous ship, the french galleon, is on. At first I wasn't quite sure what to build, but I knew I wanted to make an early ship of the line, as beautiful as I possibly could, with more focus on looks than what I've previously built. And as I developed the paint scheme to the hull the idea of an asian ship of the line took shape. That isn't something that has even existed, so what I've built is my imagination of what an asian ship would have looked like if they would have been more involved with europe during that time. It is essentially a 17th century 102 gun 1st rate ship of the line with an asian theme to it, with some modifications to it that fit general asian culture, allthough I don't want to say that it strictly is chinese, but it IS mostly influenced by chinese culture, (dragons, fireworks, etc) the ship also has some minor inventions of my own design that wouldn't have been on any european ship, just to further the concept. Despite this, it is still totally realistic with complete interior that youd' find on this era ship of the line. Since this ship is as I wrote part of a larger project that will be released in the future from Lyrah, I won't be providing a download link until that time, then I'll update it here, for now you can still visit the ship on my server.
