Introduction

It's nearly here. That's right, children of Notch. The good old 1985's is coming back to Minecraft! It's a me! I am recreating the good old fashioned levels of Super Mario Bros. now with 20% less MORE Luigi (I like to call him WeeGee)! I wouldn't mind if you posted a comment, give a diamond or favourite, as it helps to keep the submission happy from destroying the mushroom kingdom.

NB: The texture pack (Which is included in the download) is 100% completely created by me. I tried to re-create every single block that was needed to be made for this map using references in playing SMB.

How to Install

Refer to the readme included with the download

How to Play

Use your sprinting and running skills to maneuver the course and reach the end. There are four levels in each world. Collect coins by smashing the ? Blocks (Glowstone) with your fist (Diamond Pickaxe). Kill enemy Goombas, Koopas and Latikas with your Fire Flower (Bow and Arrow).

Also, play on PEACEFUL Difficulty!

This map took me a long time to complete, and it's not fully complete yet! I still have to finish the last few worlds off, and add in some more developer secrets ;)

Red wool (It's a block). In the original game, they are rotating fire balls, and you gotta avoid them.

no offence but if u used a super mario mod (there are some really good ones out there) you wouldnt need a texture pack + the enimies would actually be mobs... other than that THIS IS AWESOME!!!

It wouldn't work, it's a one block thick wall, mob AI requires at a minimum a 2x2 to spawn.

I'm gonna be working on this more, hopefully balance it with skinning, modding and texturing. I've already made all the Mario characters already, it's in a folder in the download :P

I know, but I just want to know if you want to use my NES Mario and Luigi for people using multiplayer and people using singleplayer. I might make a NES Peach, but for now, you can use those two if you want. And if you use atleast one of them, leave a diamond, a subscribe if you want.

Great map but I have a few ideas for some of the textures. Could you make the glass clear, like without a frame? It would look a lot smoother alongside the water and lava. Also, could you possibly make the enemies retextured cacti or something? It would be cool if they actually hurt you.

I don't want to change the glass at the moment because I'm using it for development reasons. So I can see the glass when building underwater, rather than "Oh no where did I place that block" :D

It is done? There is a download already for it, I just have to finish off the few remaining worlds. But if you play through it now, you'll have about 30-40 minutes to complete it, based on average player time.
