I made this back in August, but just finally got around to uploading it!
This is a 2D platformer with collision-detection and gravity (of a sort) where you can place and remove blocks and navigate your own little 8x8 world.
I usually refer to the machine itself as "Mini-Minecraft".

Maybe you could also make other types of block, such as a block you can't remove. And ad a certain number of blocks you are allowed to remove, so it would be like a real game, in which the player needs to get from point A to point B to complete a level. Do not know how much work this would be for you. And as far as minecraft in minecraft goes, I think you did a pretty good job, because it's also reasonably fast!
