I'm building a hunger games arena, its got a new design for the start positions which I just finished the redstone for, its gonna have The cornucopia with items in, its also going to have the cave that Katniss and Peeta stayed in for a while in the 74th hunger games which people might stumble across, it will have a chest containing items that Peeta and Katniss had, like Soup (from the parachute), some seeds or wheat, some chicken (groosling) and stuff like that. If you have any other ideas for secret areas and cool things to add, let me know :) Also I thinking what to add as a floor design, i was thinking a mocking-jay but there isn't much space for detail, let me know what you would like :)
Also, for the training centre, I've put a fight arena where you can spar against each-other, I made the fight arena into a steel cage! :D Also, where should the gamemakers station be positioned? please let me know in the comment section :) BEGAN MAP FOR MORE PEOPLE :D

i think the mocking jay is a good idea for the floor design. i think that since in minecraft you would be able to explore more than the characters in the book you should have the gamemakers station be player accessible. and just inside the barrier that seals them into the arena.

Thanks! great idea, since it only fits 8 people at the moment, how big should the arena be? and shall I make a huge wall of glass for the barrier?

i think that the glass wall is OK but i would make at least the first three layers out of obsidian.
also make the door to the gamemakers station iron with a hidden button to open it. the arena should be big enough to hold the 29 players, (the five gamemakers and 24 tributes)

also for in the cornucopia you should have: bow x1, sword(random*) x2, pickax(random) x2, ax (random) x3, shovel(random)x2, and arrow(stack of 64) x5

*random refers to the type of materials it is made of for example sword(random) x2 means at least 2 of any type of sword.

as for the feast just use the leaver in the game makers station that raises the tributes into the arena (you have a game maker go to the area that each tribute comes out of and place a chest of random items on each of the platforms)

I didn't know anyone was interested in this project! i have already begun adding slots for 20 people, but i wasn't sure what to do with the cornucopia! If you want i can begin working on this again and add everything it needs :)
