also, I don't think it's Japanese at all, those kind of building is a architectural style belonging to the post-modernists, they represent mainly the concept of minimalism and simplicity, also inspired on the northern europe contructivism.
So... they are very international, or globally made, but maybe your right, maybe the architect is Japanese xD hehe
