**When I first downloaded the map and got on, it spawned me above the entire map. I had to dig my way down into the cave. I figured I could change the spawn later on with mcedit or something, but nothing has worked :/ So for now you spawn on top of the whole area, and have to jump into a hole. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, please post**

When I heard about the contest I really wanted to make something for it but I realized I wouldn't have a lot of time to dedicate to such a thing. I haven't built anything in minecraft for quite a while though, and I knew this contest would at least give me some drive to complete something by the deadline, so I started building. I don't think my entry is really placement material considering some of the amazing things that have been entered, but thats not really why I'm uploading it. Just wanted to make something pretty and share with those who might enjoy it.

For quite awhile now I've wanted to build something using water..I also wanted to make something very colorful in general. At the start my plan was just to use a lot of blue, but at some point I stumbled upon the coolness of portals, and how well that color goes with blue, so I just went with that. The same color scheme in the project description/poster/thing, imagine that!

Theres a lot of cool things I thought up while making this but just didn't have time to incorporate. I think if I get some free time later on I might re-visit this theme and see what I can do with the whole blue/purple underground fantasy city idea.
