Lothlorien is a forest in middle earth. The elves of lothlorien live there. The capital is called Caras Galadhon.
It took over 4 months to create. Every tree was hand made.

Minecraft Middle Earth (MCME): This server is an attempt to make an accurate representation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s world of middle-Earth in Minecraft. We are only scaling down the distance, architecturally we are keeping it as close as possible to what has been written about, obviously making changes to keep within the height limit. We are not basing solely on the movies; our Middle-Earth is based on the books themselves.

No. MCME is MineCraft Middle-Earth. This was hand made. I think he was talking about MCEdit.

Well its a advertising process. When people search for minecraft builds, they don't type "MCME" or "Middle Earth", they Search "Lothlorien" and "Moria". Thats the reason. Plus we can only have 10 images on the server pages. On projects you can have up to 20.
