Myself, Rage_King and koalatee spent the day building this for the KraftNation server.

Our aim was to make it look nice on the outside but be a confusing mess on the inside, but still look great (this was achieved with the staircase I believe)

the staircase just looks a bit TOO messy
outside looks pretty good, the two small towers, mehh, but that is my taste
i like the chamber with the colored seats very much, inspiring:)

my tower is better it was made completely on glowstone obsidian and gold and was center for the mages guild on my rpg server

Not to try and insult you but I see the kind of building you are talking about as inferior/ of a lower standard, glowstone, obsidian, gold/iron/diamond blocks should all be used as little as possible to give effect and not as the main block of a building - will link a great page about this when I find it again.

no insult taken i aslo used other blocks like smoothstone some colored wool for the outside wood planks we only used those blocks for the inside as well but i see where your coming from weve done projects like that with only those materials and it looked ugly i would put up pictures but my private server was griefed on from this one rival server at my school and thanks for the link
