Level 60 : High Grandmaster Architect
He is massive.. 80 blocks high, so you would have to dig down to place him.

I have made him hollow so you can go inside him and take the ladders to the top.
the doors are in his shoes.

I started to make him glow by placing light in the right places - not to close to his shell, but i could only test my result in the night time.. i gave up waiting, so that's why i put this project at 95% complete.

Additional Notes

changed his skin to sandstone as recommended by scuba_steve13
I think Mario looks alot brighter. Thanx

This is odd. In the first 7 pics his skin is pink wool. But in ate it is sandstone. Which one is the downloadable one?

As explained in the update log, I changed his skin to sandstone. I am pretty sure i changed the world save and schematic as well

dont go up the ladder, go outside the hut and go between left and straight ahead. you should be able to see him from the hut.. maybe press the ' f ' key?

WOW, before i make my comment i assume (don't want to make an ass out of u and me) that this was done in mcedit. But i don't usually like edits but you took it to a whole new level great job. Best i have seen threw out the web not just this site. Good job and hope to see more

thank you.. One tool i used on this job was the ability to fly. I worked from a bunch of 2d pictures and so i made thousands or errors, also being hollow gave me no choice but to build half this job - One brick at a time. mcedit was used for the left side :)
