Hey Planet Minecraft

This guard tower is part of a small medieval village I'm building. You can see the village in the background in two of the pics.

Building "true" medieval-styled buildings is rather new to me and quite a fun challenge, so it's a real pleasure to share this tower with you guys :) My hope is of course, that you will enjoy and find good use of this tower. There is no interior decoration in this tower, that task is left open to your imagination :P

With this upload, I would like to send some credit towards the talented "Medercraft" who's medieval builds have inspired me greatly! For those of you who dont know who he is, go search for his bundle of medieval styled buildings. They are very much worth while :)

I wont be uploading a world save to the village yet because the internet I'm using at the moment doesnt allow for uploads of several MB. So please dont ask for one, I will upload the finished project as soon as I can :)

Thank you very much :) The texture pack used in this project is one from SevenFour. He calls it "Ornate" and it comes in different resolutions. I'm running the 128x128 version. Keep in mind, that I build this tower in 1.7.3 hence the texture pack was designed for that version. It's probably been updated since! Awesome job! in my oppinion, it's the best tower with medieval theme that i ever saw, it is just perfect for a little medieval village :D

Nice :) Hope it does it's job there well :) Looking forward to see your village once complete! The world where I house this tower also contains a number of other medival buildings, all build in the same style as the tower. Will upload it in a week or so, when I get the time to finish all the details and terraforming :)

Unfortunately, it will probably be atleast 1½ week before I can upload the world save for this village :( But hey, then I have good time to make it as good as I possibly can ;-)
