The second age of colonial expansion gave way to the larger civilian class cruisers. Able to transport small outposts worth of civilians and equipment these starships help build the outer colonies in various systems throughout the galaxy. Though in their design they lack speed and swift maneuverability they are properly armed with SRS swivel cannons (aesthetic) for asteroid removal and to ward off any rouge fighter attacks. The MCF Civilian Cruiser is the leading colonial transport vessel in the Merchant Civilian Fleet.
