Neue Münze (New Mint) Was a Renaissance Era Timber framed building in the old town of Hanau, Hesse, Germany.
It was built in 1658 as new Mint facility to embossy coins, as the older one had to be demolished in order to make room to build the St. John's Church. Since 1847 it was Private property and no longer used to embossy coins.

During an earlier air raid in the December 1944 it was destroyed already before the Massive and needless destruction of the rest of the old town of Hanau on the 19th. March 1945.

It was Located on Erbsengasse 5. Erbsengasse was a street which does not exist anymore.
