The map is best viewed with the texturepack

I have made a few changes to the colored wool on the texturepack allowing me more materials to build with, so make sure to download it, else things will look a tad weird in places. =P

The town is highly detailed containing many hidden/secret passageways and items all scattered around.

There is alot of added stuff outside of the city too including a forest, a few dungeons and 2 other smaller towns.

Texturepack:

The texture pack is a 32x32 personal compilation I made containing mostly John Smith's and Doku's packs with lots of bits and bats from other packs too. The town is best viewed with either my mix pack or one of those packs.

Instructions on how to install the world:

To play the downloaded world first un-zip the file using a program such as WinRAR or WinZip, you can unzip the file anywhere for now.
This should make a folder named "Oddworld-Medieval", you want to place this folder in your minecraft game folder with your other save files.

If your un-sure on how to find your Minecraft game folder follow these steps (for windows):

1. click the "start" button down the bottom left of your screen.
2. In the search box type %appdata% and click the folder named "roaming"
3. In this "roaming" folder should be your minecraft folder named .minecraft
4. In here you will find a folder named "saves" that should have all your worlds in there, if you would like to play my world all you need to do is drag and drop the "oddworld-medieval" folder into it.

V4 is available for download

The new features are:
- 3 new dungeons featuring parkour, puzzles and redstone mechanisms.
- New starter village: "Summer Mist"
- New desert Town: "Arkosia"
- Guilds Woodcutter guild and Farm guild
- Completed alot of those unfinished area's of the main city (Crowshire)
- Lighthouse (Because EVERYONE loves lighthouses)
- Many minor updates and changes to alot of small things.

Remember, the town is best viewed with the custom texturepack, else some blocks may look outofplace.

For those wondering when a new version will be uploaded.

I have completed a fair bit of new content, including adding my desert town to the map. I just need to touch up on a fair few unfinished area's and V4 will be up for download.

Some of the new things to look forward to:

- Guilds (so far only the woodcutters guild has been finished)
- Completed alot of those unfinished area's of the main city (Crowshire)
- Lighthouse (Because EVERYONE loves lighthouses)
- Secret hellish realm ( Hopefully with a new dungeon too. *Evil Laugh* )

Also for those interested in seeing my progress firsthand, i have begun livestreaming my builds.
I will stream for anywhere between 2-8 Hours a day, so come chill, listen to some music, and watch some minecraft!

All the download links should have been updated.

Also make sure to re-download the texturepack.

Some of the new features in V3 are:

-ThistleWood Forest
A huge explorable forest littered with hidden caves/ruins/outposts and more.

-Farmland
Just outside the gates of Crowshire City is an extensive farmland complete with barn, crop fields, stables and a farmhouse.

-MarketPlace
A large marketplace in the trade district has been built, though it is still empty until the next update.

-Updates
I have made some minor changes to the town itself, nearly everychest in the map should contain items. Some chests will be harder to find than others, usually reaping a better reward.

Just a quick update.

Started work on outside the Town walls. Yay!
Looks like it might take a while to get a fair bit done because of my horrible terraforming skills, aw well I'm happy with what I have so far though.

Keeping with the same detailed theme as my town, the outside area is going to be jam packed with places to explore.

Also did some minor tweaks on the town, just trying to finish it up so there are no more dead end sewers or half built buildings.

Texturepack has been updated too to include straw/thatch/hay or whatever you would like to call it. This should give the roofs a little more variety and allow me to make farmland more realistic.

Should have V3 for download within a week or earlier depending on how motivated I stay :3
