Hello all,

After installing iChun's Portal Gun mod, I've decided that I will recreate Portal 2 entirely in Minecraft!
Don't worry, I discussed it with Valve and it's perfectly legal so long as I don't try to profit financially from this.

Due to the nature of Minecraft, obviously this won't be a perfect recreation. I will probably have to leave some sequences out, like the shifting hibernation chamber you start in.

Chances are I will have to leave out the co-op campaign though, due to one major issue.. INCLINES Minecraft does not have these, and a lot of the co-op puzzles use inclines.

I will update this project constantly, so be sure to check back often.

INSTALLATION:

Texture Pack and Customized Portal Gun mod are included in the download.

-Place the "portalgun" folder in appdata/roaming/.minecraft/mods folder.
-Be sure to have Forge and Modloader installed or the mod will not work.
NOTE: If using MCPatcher to install, you do not need Modloader
-Extract the Speaker Block mod and Sensor Block mod to the Minecraft.jar file
NOTE: These are included in the project download
-Place the "sounds" folder in appdata/roaming/.minecraft/mods/peronix/SpeakerBlock
NOTE: This directory will exist after installing the Speaker Block mod and launching the game 1 time.

How did you geet the lazers? I got portal mod and no lazers were added :( and the field past the doors... those are not working! AND the speaker mod is nowhere, I cant find it :(. Is this an addon...?

Sorry about the speaker block, that's in the pack. But it makes my mc blackscreen (deleted meta inf of course) and I can not see any portal stuff in the game. I really think this is me, but I have to portal mod! Help!

I have come to ask your permission if I am allowed to place your map with my maps but also provide a link to your account.
I have thought of doing this since I have complete the Portal Series and I am going to make a project containing all the Portal Maps, but I do not have a Portal 2 map so I have asked you if permission is given.

You didn't read what I said. I can't continue until he adds light bridges to the mod. Yes, he has a 1.4.2 version, but it's exactly the same as the 1.3.2 version and he stated he only quickly made it compatible. He says he plans on adding new stuff soon.

Forge is required. Don't forget, you need to use 1.2.5, and the mod was updated, so the installation is a bit different now.

By far one of the best adventure maps I have ever seen! The idea of this is incredible but remarkably difficult to accomplish, but you...have proven that YOU are capable of compleating this amazing task! Thank you for this amazing adventure map and hope to see it compleated in the future!
