This is a samurai Japanese temple sort of thing. It has a simple yet elegant theme and much landscaping/organics- Though not too much. The build was originally made for a multiplay contest (we placed 4th) The rules were it had to ALL be hand made. So the whole 256x256x256 area was landscaped and built by the Aeries team of three (Lonzo99, Mikea0228, and me) After about a month of hard work (I was pretty busy and building by hand was a pain, so Lonzo and Mikea did most of the repetitive hard work xD), we completed the build and started adding small things. The random samurai parachuting from hot air balloons, dragon in the main area, ect. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience (with the fact that we won 128 or 256$- can't remember).

Samurai are not Chinese nor where ninja (which buy the way are just samurai who where hired to perform a mission much like a mercenary)

China and Korea actualy had mostly just heard tales of the samurai but did not think they where real until they meet in combat, most Chinese and Korean warriors feared the samurai
also plural of samurai is just samurai since in Japanese there is no plural conjunctions except for in use with the words I and You.

I could make a whole history lesson about this if i wanted but i think ill leave it at this.
Sorry i don't mean to be rude or anything i just wanted to point out a common misconception >-<

Amazing build I have no clue how you can even do something like this in under a month.
You deserve the money you won, who does these contests?
I enjoy building and would love to participate in a competition with you guys :P
Definitely won't get close to anything as great as this, can't believe it's all by hand and most likely original.
