i use this version myself and it's great except for one small issue. the sand appears to float down to the end of the little stream, but you can't actually pick it up, the blocks are somehow duplicated and stay on top of the trapdoors, and you have to go walk on top of the trapdoors to pick the sand up. when you collect it the "ghost" sand that was at the end of the stream disappears.

perhaps this is because single player is now integrated with the server? i'm not sure.

It wouldn't be the server, if you read it propaly you would see it says 1.3 so that couldn't be the problem.

Im making a pvp map that the currency is sand and gravel so can you make this work with a button or pressure plate?

Only gravel and mod blocks that have the same property as sand/gravel.
