The sun rises a deep and dark red as you stare across your newest found kingdom. You are the king of your clan, be your people Viking, Welsh or English your people need a home for you to rule. Here in this 5th century landscape you have found such a place and with the help of your rural architects, the dirt moat and walls of stone and dirt forming the outer ring with the new bailey at its center. But what now?.... How shall you turn this defensive ring of dirt into a home for your eager people. You are the king, the choice is yours, use your imagination. From a diverse settlement for traders and farmers to a towering wooden citadel for your warriors to be proud, maybe even a large mead hall for all your subjects to drink, apart from the few monks soberly writing their books in their tiny church round the corner behind the pig shed.

Out beyond its wall and ditch is a network of roads leading across rivers and into the wilderness. From its blue shale slopes to its vast yet claustrophobic Marshlands all decorated with my very own custom stones/bushes and Great Fir trees forming a lush and wet landscape inspired from ancient Britannia. But not all should be built within the Bailey, their are preset wheat fields and paths along which you can build. There are also three small mounds from where your key watch-posts can be placed and against a mountainside is a huge tiered Quarry foundation for your mining start, the land of which is rich in coal and iron found even at higher altitudes in the rock. And when the day dies for a time of remembrance follow round the baileys side and sit at the flower covered barrows (burial mounds) and watch the sun go down. As you fall asleep a new song of the night begins to howl as the very common Plains Wolves begin to sing to the moon, perhaps tomorrow you'll tame one or two.

"Remember the lee of the stone" - the Easter egg clue

Note - This map is made for creative player base-work and the lack of wood/tree types might make it too difficult for survival players and exotic resources will be hard to acquire.

I'm using the Woodpecker texture pack with my colour tweaks.

Downloading, will be building a city in the area twice. One with Conquest Reforged and one on vanilla with conquest texture pack. Hoping to convince my buddy it's worth having players get the mod.
