The Shadow of Israphel Map Project is/will be a full replication of the Yogcast's 'Shadow of Israphel' series map. It is generally being built in the order of the content shown in the series. It is an attempt to be an exact, if not similar re-construction of the original.
Not actual map release, only a replication.

This is where I am currently with the hand. As always 100% so far didn't take me that long, the last few gaps I need to fill with blocks and bars are fairly hard as they are not viewed close, so requires some estimation, till the viewing is right compared to the video. My estimations normally get it 100% right, you have to build what you can as you go, then fill in the gaps and hope it matches.
I have done part of the inside so far. But here are the screenies. Also remember there is no sand, since these are schematics, so they will be imported into the map after terraforming. I think this is also nice as people can put them in their maps.

I figured out the streams were around each side. It took some estimations with areas, but if they usually match up with somewhere else, then I know I got it right. I still need to put the hedges around the inner edge and this is done.
One of my best so far I would say.

So far I have built Granny Bacon's Funeral Chruch featured in the special and I rebuilt The Yogcave with the Tower 100% exact. You can see the images of these on the Facebook.
For next couple of weeks I will be building schematic constructions, so they won't be on the official world I built, but I will probably post them under a separate flat world. With schematics I thought it was neat idea as people can put them in their own worlds.
When importing them in my map later, it will be easier as I can terra-form any terrain before, it is harder to cut them out once they have been placed in.

People stop pestering for an update, I have already stated I have stopped work on this. I no longer have the time and it is to much to do. Just take what you have here and be lucky you have it. What also annoys me is people saying things are missing. Of course things are missing, look at the scale of it, you also need comprehend the amount of time it takes to do something like this.
The Yogscast have changed a lot since I did this, one reason I stopped this was I thought the series was coming to an end and they would release their own map, which is not happened yet. I do not enjoy their videos as much anymore. They feel way to artificial now and rarely even post shadow of israphel videos.
Maybe over summer if I ever get bored I might put something together for you guys.

I will be finishing the project as of today. Reasons being? The series is coming to a climax soon enough and they will be doing their own release. I think people have most of what they want from the series. I also want to put this time into being more creative, creating my own adventure maps.
I did have some big changes coming up, but I don't want to spoil the series or ruin the official release.
I am starting work on my own adventure map, which will be a fully detailed, quality, co-operative story which I hope to have a big outcome and have built up a lot of ideas already for.
