Welcome to Shadow Souls.

A CTM map like no other.
Lightly based off the Game Dark Souls and map style Super Hostile CTM by Vechz, I bring you Shadow Souls.

Single player and Multiplayer Enabled.
No complex redstone or command blocks to upset compatibilities.
100% Compatible with Lan, hamachi, bukkit servers etc.

Play Hard mode for the full experience, though Easy is no walk in the park.

Unlike other maps, this map has 3 Monuments. The main one is the common wool monument (Monument of Redemption), to be completed with 16 different coloured wool pieces. The other two serve as advanced level monuments actually referred to as pillars of either light or darkness. Also after the monument each monument is complete, a final dungeon opens for you to conquer, based on the story.

Features of the Map
Very high variety of powerful custom mob spawners. (As in, full diamond, strength VIII, Resistance III buffed zombies with a knockback IV sword near end game)

Mobs drop gold and equipment, gold serves as currency. (Stronger enemies means better rewards)

Custom Villager Merchants are scattered around the map. (Keep a constant supply of health potions with you)

Lots of hidden bonus chests and item bonus sets. (Full sets of armour plus unique items and weapons)

Custom Loot. (Flaming Stick: Blaze Rod with Fire Aspect I enchantment)

Wool is displayed differently in each location, never just placed in a fleecy box. (Like in a big clump or floating away from a bridge)

Each location gives a new unique challenge. (Never just a tonne of blazes in your path)

Chainmail Armour and iron swords in the first 5 minutes. (Which is incredibly low grade for the map)

Estimated Gameplay: At least 3 hours, aiming for more.
