Builders award was given on MCSchematics.com for this Castle.
Castle is now completed, after 3 months of work, dying 57 times and lots of frustrations the joy of calling it done has arrived.
Counting only items used above 1000 and not counting dirt(used for filling up walls and terrain) and stone, the castle used up 100 000 items/blocks.
279 x 163 x 74 castle dimensions.
It started as a rough idea and grew from there. Mcedit was used 3 times to transfer it to different maps, but other than that no mods or spawning of items was used. Build was done in survival mode.
The castle is very defensive oriented and works as such: There is 3 outer areas followed by the inner killing area, then the palace walls, then the palace courtyard(killing area) followed lastly by the pallace itself.
Castle features in 7 major areas are:
1) Bussines area ( 8 shops, hotel, restaurant, mill, blacksmith, monument, gaurd office)
2.a)Farming area (sheep, chickens, cows, pigs, sugarcane, wheat, pumpkins, watermelons, nether gate,office)
b)Barracks ( archery, obstacle course, blacksmith, dinning floor, sleeping floor)
3)Housing area (8 houses, park, public pool)
4.a) Killing zone
.b) Church area( church, royal tombs)
5)Palace area (Royal courtyard/garden, throne room, dinning room, 2 gallerys, 3 guest rooms, 3 advisor rooms, roof garden, family room, conference room, main bedroom, study, small library, treasury, guard room, servants room, private pool, 3 viewing sections)
6)Sub section area (storeroom, mushroom farm, kitchen, arena, harbour, creative area)
7)Towers/walls/gates ( 14 towers, 3 gatehouses, new "shoot down on enemy" system)
Area outside the castle has been left "wilde" for the player to do with wat he/she wants ( road to nearby town, gardens or more walls)
Furniture decoration skills is not the best, so please excuse me there.
NB: For schematic users please note the following 2 important things when placing the castle.
1) Castles rear side must face the upcoming sun/moon side otherwise the netherbrick steps wil be corrupted(mcedit bug)
2) Also at rear of castle at the entrance to the harbour a line of dirt has been placed wich must be 1 block under water. Dirt blocks can then be removed.

Additional Notes
