Why, hello there!
Here's a little schematic to a sniper tower, which truly churns out Skeletons. Perfect for any adventure map!
The Skeletons spawn at the top of the tower, whether it's day or night, drop down into the viewing deck, from which they fire arrows. It works perfectly, they can't escape the tower, they don't spawn outside the tower, and there's enough room to prevent them shooting each-other too much in their frenzy. The tower looks good too!

Thinking of upgrading this tower to include a second viewing platform. Might have to fiddle with the railings though, as they tend to get in the way of the Skellies' line of sight...
