Ever wanted to create your own skin without waiting for someone to create if for you?
Too lazy to make your own skin?
Even when you get your skin, it sucks?

Want to easily make a skin?

Well, help me make SKINCRAFT, a program to mix and match parts of a skin via layers
to make your own skin.

I need help and support, as well as volunteers.

I don't know how to code;
I could use more skin artists;
I need your input!

Please comment on what you think below!

Buddy, that only depends on who you gave your request to. I'd rather wait for a skin and have the creator put time and effort into it, than have someone make me a quick, poorly colored, poorly shaded skin.
Also, stacking layers isn't enough to make a skin. If you're going to layer it, make sure you know what you're doing. Make everything fit, pay attention to detail, test it before you post it. If it doesn't look right to you or your customer, fix it. Make multiple versions if and when possible. Experiment with different looks, styles, etc. Don't be cheap and use Skincraft (I'm talking about the original one, you know, the one that already exists?), their textures are lame and messy. Either make your own skin, or find a good skinner who knows what they're doing, send a request if they take them, and wait.

what? no no no. i am not saying that you have posted skins from there. I am simply saying that what you are envisioning is already a reality and that i kindly request that people who use that site to not post skins here from there. there is no blame being insinuated.

What do you mean? I never posted anything from there.
I actually never knew this before. still, I'd like to to this. The armory is too...abstract.
It's too unrealistic. who has skin of cactus?

Skincraft will be more like an avatar creator: more to what YOU actually look like.
(with a articles of clothing, of course).
