Hi everybody , i’m Owls and i’m coming back with a new minecraft architecture project .


Indeed , here is a reproduction of the Velodrome Stadium. The Veledrome Stadium is a soccer stadium located in the city of Marseille in France . This one had been renovated a few months ago and it offered us a splendid architecture. I’m very interested in those kind of modern builds , so i really wanted to do a reproduction of this gorgeous stadium. The Vélodrome can accomodate a lot of people (67 395 spectator) , that’s huge ( even more when you do it in minecraft haha ) .


I tried to reproduce this structure in a way that when you are visiting this stadium in game , you  feel like you are in the real one. The dimensions to this build is 400x400 blocs. This work took me about more than a month to achieve.


What I like in this building is the «  Roof » , this big white shell . It gives an original look to the edifice. I had to learn new skills to fulfill this. It was very hard I have to admit.

Bonjour tout le monde , ici Owls , et j’arrive avec un nouveau projet d’architecture minecraftienne .


En effet , voici une reproduction du Stade Vélodrome se situant dans la ville de Marseille. Ce dernier a été rénové il y a peu pour nous offrir une prouesse architecturale. Très inspirée et passionnée pour ce type d’architecture je me suis empressée de m’atteler à la longue tâche qui est de la reproduire dans Minecraft. Le Vélodrome, deuxième stade de France en termes de capacité d’accueil, pour vous dire qu’il n’est pas petit.


J’ai essayé de bien reproduire ce stade et de respecter l’échelle de celui-ci. De manière à ce que les gens puissent visiter virtuellement ce stade et se croire dans le vrai . Le stade fait donc 400 blocs par 400 blocs et environ une centaine de blocs de haut. Un travail qui m’aura pris près d’un mois et demi à réaliser.


Ce qui m’a beaucoup plu dans ce bâtiment est la toile blanche qui donne un côté tout à fait original à cette construction. J’ai donc pu apprendre de nouvelle technique (organique) afin de pouvoir réaliser toutes ces courbes en 3D.
