Hey guys I just wanted to show you these maps I made. They are both multiplayer PvP maps where you can choose a superhero class. One is for Marvel and the other is for DC. I would want you to try both, but the Marvel one is the sequel, therefore, more worked on and better. The DC part will be out in a while due to it needing to be edited.

Overly basic.
Add some buildings, remove the random lava.
I'ma give you some tips I use daily in my job. (I'm a game developer)
The map has to have a mood, a feel, a vibe.
Tell the story through your map.
If its an apocalypse, add some vines, make some potholes in the road.
Everyone loves a good detailed city to fight through. Just make some sky scrapers with stone and glass. make it so you can go into some of them, and go onto the roof.
Use textures to change the feel, use command blocks to create effects, like a blindness mixed with night vision.
Create a managed zombie spawn system. use command blocks to create CUSTOM zombies.
There are alot of techniques to achive a high end map.
