The grand city of Carthage controlled a massive and prestigious maritime empire, the envy of Athens, its mother city, Tyre, and the entire mediterranean until challenged and destroyed by Rome.

Though the small, incomplete reconstruction made mostly by my friends on Roma Oritur does may not live up to the great name of Carthage, it is still a work in progress and by no means finished. Although, I do hope you may be a bit inspired by what we have done.

The great harbor, plaza, temple district, etc have not been attempted yet.
