Finally, my megabuild is finished, one of the largest airships in minecraft, this took me a day and a half of nerding to make.


I'd like to give a big shout out to Block_Fortress for inspiring me to do a megabuild, to Rova for being an awesome shipbuilder and to McHolypotato as I based my balloon designs on his Twilight Tempest.


This build took a bloody long time to make :P about a day and a half of nerding, so 15 hours build time roughly.
I built the pagoda from scratch as every schematic on here is built in even numbers, whereas I build almost exclusively in odd numbers to achieve golden ratios in my builds. I packed in as much detail as I could and the ship is fully furnished on all decks.

How to: Make them balling balloons? . o.
I is making one in the inspiration of this :D (LARGER DEN URS~! I think. Hopefully. Iunno.)

Le not to be a derp critique, but since the bridge/ Emperor's residence is all Oriental and Asian, the balloons could be replaced by some finned sails resembling fish or a bat's/ dragon's wings. But since this is a steampunk airship, I can't argue w/ that :Y

haha, oriental sails would be pretty cool :) something to think about for next time.

And the balloons can be made in a few minutes using world edit, i'll make a yotuube tutorial when i get my new mic

you should maybe just try /replacenear 100 35:1 35:14 to get some red ballons ;) i think thats a quiet simple way to make the ship look more oriental/asian and still keep the steampunk look :D

yeah I was going to pop on and build a small fleet from scratch, but rova said it was classic creative mode, whereas i'm used to the new creative mode as i don't have flymod installed (and trying to build an airship without being able to fly is a bit of a challenge to say the least :P)
