HISTORY OF THE LAND
Imagine a world not like ours, devoid of magic. In this fantasy land, a breed of trees called the Red Angels were reknown throughout all of the kingdoms for their healing and magical properties. The Council of the Arch, the leading mage guild in the Kingdom of Uleras, sought to protect these trees from the Corruption. Corruption appears to the human eye much like smog in our world does. This Corruption raps around the bark of the trees and chokes them, effectively destroying their magical properties, leaving them charred with blackened leaves. To protect the Red Angels, the Council of the Arch raised 12 islands into the clouds and imbued the islands with protective auras. The trees, now protected, are yours to visit. If you so choose, you are free to build upon the islands, just make sure you give the trees space to grow and thrive.

OVERVIEW
This project was made almost completely in WorldPainter. I used WorldEdit to change the tree blocks. This project is more of a test for me in making islands with WorldPainter.
Feel free to do whatever you want with this world (as long as you credit me) and do not redistribute through an ad-wall! This was made using custom brushes and trees from various locations (message me for info).
Renders were taken using Chunky and the Conquest texture pack.
