*Due to a change to my occupation, I am no longer making maps for this community. This community and the Youtube LP'rs have my thanks and gratitude for all the amazing support and acknowledgement this map has received in such a short time.

Follow in the smallest Minecraft footsteps to recover and unlock the mystery of the cheese. Two inches tall? Not a problem. Go through, around and up in this gigantic world to complete the Great Cheese Monument. 26 pieces of cheese with 4 bonus pieces to find along with the 24 bonus lights, fire and water quests to activate and complete. Play tested at 9-12 hours of game play. Created for both single and multi-player game modes with no mods required.

The rules:

No hacks or mods that would ruin the maps challenge. (The only exception to this rule is for LP'rs to provide enough light in their videos for their viewers.)
Stay within the map's boundaries.
Break what you like.
Dig where you like.
Craft whatever you think will help.
Kill what you can and try to survive.
Follow the story line and/or objectives.

Recommended:

Use your favorite texture pack.
Make an LP and inform me so I can support your channel.
Post your adventures and constructive feedback so I may continue to make quality maps for this community.
Play on any difficulty level but never peaceful. This map was made for combat.

* Verques is pronounced E(verques)T, like the game.

Edit: Many are asking how long this map took to build. This map was built solely by me and the total time from start to V4 Final was 28 days. As of 05/22/13 I have gone back to update this map to 1.5.2 and I am currently still in the process of doing so. I estimate the revised map will be completed and ready for upload by the weekend of 05/26/13. I am removing the current versions download until then.

How to download Minecraft maps:

Any OS:

Open the game.

Click on Mods and Texture packs in the main menu.

Click Open texture pack folder.

Go one directory level up (the folder called .minecraft).

Enter the folder named saves.

Note: this does not work on older versions of Mac OS X.

Windows:

In Windows Explorer, type in the address bar %appdata%.minecraftsaves. Alternatively this can be entered in the Run dialogue box (Start > Run... or Windows+R).

Mac:

While in finder go to Go -> Go to Folder or press [COMMAND] + [SHIFT] + G then enter ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves.

This is a mac program compatible with .7z files: http://unarchiver.c3.cx/

Linux:

Type ~/.minecraft/saves/ in your file manager's address bar, or in the terminal type cd ~/.minecraft/saves.

Edit: For those only getting the white piece of paper downloaded, right click on it and open with 7-zip, then copy paste /or drag and drop the yellow folder into your .minecraft saves folder.
