This variant of the Phoenix Dragon, named Ophus Khol, is a much more exciting variant, and offers a much more intense battle. As much as I would love to dive in to the mechanics behind it, I do not wish to spoil exactly what differences exist. However, if you must know, they will be contained in, well, a spoiler.
This is multiplayer compatible.

Attacks:
Firebolt: Ophus Khol will launch a terrain-diminishing firebolt at the player.
Flaming Curtain: Ophus will leave a path of fire wherever he flies.
Traditional Ram: Ophus will ram the player directly, as Ender Dragons do.
Defenses:
Living Scales: Ophus will shed its scales, the World Formers, to attack the player and terraform the land to Ophus's will.
Crystal Regeneration: Ophus will, like the Ender Dragon, regain health from the Ender Crystals.
Rebirth: Ophus will, as a final defense, rebirth himself from his own ashes once defeated, to give a final battle; in this final battle, Ophus will shoot out 3x the amount of firebolts, and summon 3x the amount of World Formers; Ophus also now has a chance to relight crystals that have been destroyed.
