This was really just a quick project, something I did in a few spare hours - but they were a fun few hours. For the pleasure of those people whose Venn diagram of interests feature an intersection of Minecraft and The Lion King, I have recreated the most important landmarks of The Pride Lands. This does not include the desert at the end of the gorge, nor the jungle where he meets Timone and Pumba - those are both, unfortunately, outside The Pride Lands. What this map DOES include is:

Pride Rock (of course): x:-123, z:-137

The Elephant Graveyard: x:-412, z:-466.

The Gorge: x:-628, z:791.

Rafiki's Tree: x:735, z:375.

The Watering Hole: x:342, z:-609.

The Outlands (specifically, the giant termite mound the Outlanders live in): x:-754, z:-1020.

Additional Notes

Don't expect anything too spectacular from this - as I said, it was just a wee fun project for a free afternoon. Feel free to use this for anything you like, but be aware that once you go beyond the foothills at the edge of the main map, there's a big old void between it and the randomly generated vanilla world.

This was mostly me trying out WorldPainter and refreshing my WorldEdit skills, but if you like what you see, that's great.

Hi guys! I doubt any of your are still interested, and I apologise deeply for how incredibly long after the fact this comment is. Anyway! I took the coordinates for the Termite Mound in the Outlands down wrong. I have now changed it in the main description. The z-coordinate should have read -1020, not 1020. Sorry about that!

This is amazing! But is The Outlands supposed to be different from everything else? I can't find it!

Thanks so much! Sorry about how late this is - I never use this account, really - but the coords were wrong on the main description. I've updated it now. There was no "-" in front of the 1020. There should have been.
