DO NOT DOWNLOAD this build / world save / schematic from any site other than from this page.  All other download sites should be considered suspect.




I made this for my friends game server.  It is a custom creation from the ground up.  I call it the Picon, a Candace Class Destroyer.

It is one of the more detailed builds I have done.  SInce MCedit is no longer going to be updated and won't work with version 1.2 of MC, I figured I had better release this for public consumption now so folks can import it into their worlds before the update.

The ship has 11 decks.  I tried to color code rooms. 

Entrance - Exits - Pink
Engineering - Orange
Access Jefferies Tubes - Black
Up Down Ladders - White
Crew Areas - Light Gray
Crew Quarters - Lime Green
Storage Cargo - Dark Green
Hanger - Purple
Ship Systems - Brown
Weapons areas - Teal
Medical - Blue
Escape Pods - Red

The Intrepid is USS Voyager.  But with all the voyager projects out there I just went with the class name.  Enjoy  To download the Intrepid just go to my submissions page and look for it.  Its popular download so you should find it easily.

I strongly recommend that every use the Mineral Detector Mod by  Ellian.  It is a wonderful tool that has a great tool for finding your way around such things as these ships.  The top down view works like TAB map view that helps you find your way through mines, builds, buildings, and other things.  I love this mod.  Also the Opti-Fine STANDARD mod by sp614x is a great tool for freeing up resources to help larger maps run better within minecraft.  You can also set up your JAVA to use more memory as well. BebopVox talks about it here.

Ya unfortunately this thing sort of piracy has become somewhat of an epidemic amongst the moron class who feed upon minecraft builders work like parasites.  I do appreciate all the help people, especially you and Offender, have given in shutting down these folks when they are dumb enough to post on a major MC site.  A sincere Thank you to you and to everyone for all the support, help, and kind words.

It was actually very easy build.  I used plain old creative mode on my friends server with a touch of TooManyItems and that was all that.  Alignment issues were easily taken care of as I went.  Loved the process but it did burn me out.  I haven't done much with MC since this was finished.  I did do an update for the Defiant that I have to post though.  I should get that done today sometime.

I made this over the course of five days.  From bottom to the last block of the left nacelle.  It was a PITA for sure, but it was a lot of fun.  I lucked out on the gestumates as everything fit great.  I did make one mistake with the deck 6 as you can see both Deck 6 and 5 you have to "step up" between the secondary hull and the primary one.  But that just adds character too it.

I am still working on the Galaxy.  I will go ahead and complete it in 1.01 and if they ever fix MCedit to use 1.2 then I will combine the two builds into one.
