Thank you to Jerah Callaghan for this great video. - Please check out his channel and subscribe.
It is semi - accurate to the older version of the Strategic Design Intrepid blue prints. You can get a small deck view from Cygnus.
Also there is a new blue print maker who worked with Strategic design and is now offering updated and considerably more interesting versions of the Intrepid and Defiant deck plans. Check out Cygnus for more info.
The new site that has the blue prints for sale is: Cydonia 6 Ink - Starship Blueprints and Deck Plans
As done as I care to take it. While there is some labeling that could be done for the most part this project is now completed.
I have added in shuttles and finished up the interior work. (Yes there are doors now.) I also did a lot of fit and finish work to and loads of detail stuff. The ship is now completed to the point where I can move onto another project. (Galaxy build)
I have updated both the world save and the schematic file to Feb 2nd version. If you find any problems with the build please send me a message. Yes you can use this build on any server or alter it as you see fit so long as you honor my request that you provide credit where credit is due along with a link to this page. Thanks and enjoy.
Update - Jan 27th, 2012 - READ UPDATE LOG for changes
New World Save - ONLY - schematic not yet updated.
Full Update - Jan 25, 2012
All new exterior hull.
Many small revamps
I still have a lot of work left to do on this build so yes there are areas that are not yet labeled or have any detail. Bear with me as I continue to improve the build. Suggestions are always welcome.
Still a WIP so if you find problems PLEASE let me know.
Update posted in the Update Log 1-21-12
I realize that the ship is rather large and that some areas appear smaller than they do on TV while others appear larger. Again the ship is scaled to the Stragetic Design Deck Plans. I am currently working on a newer version with better exterior detail, better interior marking and filling in of a lot of the state rooms and ship areas. I am also going to remove the stairs and go with ladders. I don't know jack about texture packs so if someone wants one, they'll have to see the block I have used and then make their own. (Or submit one to me for use.)
Euml over at the minecraft official forms has a brilliant build of the Voyager going on with outstanding textures. Please stop by his thread and post encouraging comments.
The current WORLD SAVE is the VOYAGER as of 9/27/2011.
USS Voyager v 1.1 - DOWNLOAD world save! Updated 9/1/2011
USS Intrepid - beta - World Save in description below.
366 meters (blocks) long by 144 meters (blocks) wide, and 79 meters (blocks) high.
Fully Explorable From Deck 1 to Deck 15, Both Nacelles, and Inner Hull Areas.
Accurately designed to Deck Plans by Strategic Design Intrepid Class
Two Projects currently being worked on, Intrepid - Prototype, and Voyager
Word Save is the VOYAGER. - She is still a work in progress (WIP)
Square blocks, round hole - keep that in mind please.
You start in Transporter Room 1 on Deck 4. When you exit the Transporter room into the main corridor, go left to access the turbo shafts. - Turbo shafts are Gray with white lines. Main decks are cyan with White line. Engineering areas are orange, weapons yellow, etc. Deck 1 is the bridge. Deck 1 3, 8, 9B, 11, and 15 have access hatches. There are also other hatches too, but you'll have to explore to find them. There are a few areas that are kind of hidden, they are mostly inner hull areas. I tried to provide access to all of these areas. Mainly around the forward deflector dish, decks 14 thru 11, and under the hanger. There are access ladders all over so enjoy exploring.
I am still working on the interior so there are some areas that haven't yet been labeled or given much detail.
Area's labeled "Restricted" were area's of the deck plans that had nothing in them. Do with them as you wish, make hidden rooms, etc.

I decided to take on a more aggressive project. I chose to construct The USS Voyager (NCC-74656) from Star Trek Voyager but first decided to make the Intrepid as a learning process. The voyager is an Intrepid class starship.
The process started off with going over the "Strategic Design" deck plans of the Intrepid Class Star Ship and trying to decided on a scale. I opted for a 1:1 variant. (Its close to 1:1 but only as close as one can get in Minecraft.)
I then spent the better part of three days making the basic outline of each deck. I used MCEdit, SPC, and TooManyItems for this project. After each deck was laid out, I began the stacking process. This took an entire day to complete. I had to go in and out of MCedit and MC to fit and tweak each deck. Alignment issues and what not. I began working on each deck, starting with Deck 15 and working my way upward toward Deck 1 (Bridge).
I failed to realize that this is a massive project and very time consuming. While I cannot say how long it will take to make, I can say that I will make it. (its made as of update 10.) My only concern is that I am not an exterior detail kind of guy and I know I will have trouble making the ship look good externally.
The interior decks have all been laid out so I know where all the corridors, state rooms, and other things go. I don't know if I will just use ladders or try and use stairs for the turbo shafts as I did for the NOVA builds. I might opt for what other Trek modelers have done, and go with ladders if I cannot get the stairs to fit correctly.
Comments welcome. I do appreciate any and all up votes as well.

Also I have gotten a few requests to change the turbo shafts from stairs to ladders. I will do this and post it as an alternative download for those who want it.
Also, I have revamped the shuttles for this ship too. I am really happy at how they have turned out.

Added link to quick Youtube video.
Update #15 : 08/28/2011 6:10:32 am8/28/11
I am in the process now of labeling the decks and rooms. Once that is done, I'll upload a world save for her along with a Schematic. Should be a day or two. There is a lot of labeling to do.
I Doubt I will be placing any doors at this time. I might, but I don't think I will.
Update #14 : 08/26/2011 4:58:02 pm8/26/11
While the Intrepid and the Voyager are virtually identical, there are significant differences between the two ships. Mostly in quality of design and construction. The Voyager does use some of the modified deck plans that I adopted and improvised for the Intrepid (to better make use of unused area's.) but it is more closely matched to the actual Strategic Design Deck Plans.
The Intrepid is about 90% completed. Just need to add in the signs. I am going to skip doors for it as they are CPU and memory hogs.
The Voyager is about 75% completed now. I am going through her now adding in detail. While each deck was built with content in mind, there still will be areas without anything in them. This is to facilitate Minecraft players needs for gardens, MOB areas, and other things. Room to expand in other words.
There currently is no world save for the Voyager. I did however upload a picture of her. I think its either the third or forth one down the list. You should be able to see the name USS Voyager on the primary hull.
Update #13 : 08/24/2011 6:14:25 pm8/24/11
Update #12 : 08/22/2011 11:59:57 am8/22/11
Still no door on interior rooms, or labeling let. However I have cleaned up a lot of the interior detail and filled in even more rooms with components and such. Added a few more windows.
I don't know if I am going to actually add any doors or not. Its going to be a resource hog with the signs and adding in 400 plus doors might be a bit too much. Not sure yet.
Update #11 : 08/20/2011 8:03:40 pm8/20/11
I was asked if I could make a "landing" version of the ship. I might do that.
Also someone mentioned that I "stole" my ship schematic from the USS MUSIC. Um, no. The images I have been posting since the inception of this project prove that it is a ground up operation of my own making. So please keep the nasty accusations to yourself. First this project is almost twice as large as the MUSIC, and the decks are laid out according to the very detailed Strategic Design deck plans. Granted they are not star trek "cannon" deck plans, but then again, if you can produce "cannon" deck plans for the Voyager, I'd like to see em. The "set" design of the Voyager, or any ship seen on TV for that matter, will never correlate 100% to any deck plans released for them. Not even the Ed version of the Enterprise D are 100% accurate. They are sets, not actual ships.
Update #10 : 08/18/2011 7:05:22 pm8/18/11
Keep in mind that this is a WIP and there is still a lot that has to be done yet. A lot of the rooms are empty and haven't been fitted out as of yet. There is still a lot of work to be done and things to be fixed, tweaked, altered, etc.
Comments are welcome.
Update #9 : 08/17/2011 9:56:31 pm8/17/11
I am considering uploading a world save of the current progress for those who are interested. PM me.
Update #8 : 08/16/2011 12:39:31 am8/16/11
I uploaded a couple more images.
I have started on the nacelles but haven't gotten very far as of yet. I will focus on them no exclusively until they are completed.
The ship is a lot larger than I had originally thought. She is not a small ship as seen in the show. At her widest she is a walk to cross.
