At last! I've finished redesigning my old and messy Colosseum, and created this (The old was by no means broken)! My friends and I had gotten tired of seeing an out-of-place construction in our redstone laboratory. So we put in motion the idea of taking out all the old redstone to set it up all over again, using our now much expanded knowledge of wiring, and making the Colosseum a material other than plain stone and cobblestone.
Not much has changed with the Control Box other than the far more organized placement of levers and buttons, but the redstone has greatly improved since the 1st version!
All features here are accessible from the Control Box.
- Portcullis Colosseum entrance (A gate that closes and opens access to anyone for the Colosseum)
- Spectator stands stairway (A stairway at the entrance that allows spectators to enter and exit the stands unless closed)
- Option to flood the arena completely (The largest and most lagtastic feature; allows the arena to be flooded or drained)
- Release the Mobs! (Implemented for those who would rather battle mobs)
- Option to spawn either skeletons, zombies, or spiders in the 'Release the Mobs!' room (Keeping the lever down will spawn 2 per second)
- Arena Stairs (Allows the arena Overlord to enter or leave the arena)
- Control Box access (Iron door entrance to the Control Box)
- Combatant Gates (Opens the gates for the combatants to have at the opposite team)
The new additions to the Colosseum include the enhanced exterior design, preparation rooms for the combatants, and much improved redstone placement.
Please tell me what you think! I'm looking for feedback on how I did, and what you all think! Leave a diamond or comment, it helps!
If the skeleton and zombie spawners don't seem to work, just go over to the redstone behind the mob room and remove the buttons, I forgot to remove them and they seem to be changing the direction of the signal.
