Lore:
A very small village built on the desolate marshes. Its inhabitants toil in their dreary existence to upkeep their heritage: an ancient watchtower established by the King's armies as they passed through. It is rumored that any inhabitants of the lone house on the wooded island will be cursed forever. Such a lonely place is the perfect location to dock the King's floating prison barge.

Consists of:
2 houses
1 watchtower
1 patrol boat
1 rowboat
1 river barge/prison ship
1 witch's house
the best melon farm you'll ever see (my new design)
many many custom handbuilt trees, including:
1 glowing pumpkin tree
2 dead swamp trees
and many more
Builder's Note
I spent about 5 hours doing everything (about half the time was on trees)
Worldedit was used for some grunt work
This was built in Athery's Ascended texturepack, but it should look decent in vanilla as well.

I'm glad you liked the feel of it; I thought the atmosphere was pretty well executed, but I'm thinking of making another build/revamping this one with better buildings.
